DESCRIPTION:Due to the coronavirus pandemic\, we are moving to a virtu
 al format this year. We invite you to register and compete in as many 
 events as you can over the nine days of the regatta. The Virtual Scull
 ers’ Head of the Potomac will be raced on the water or on a Concept 
 II ergometer over a distance of 4500 meters. On-the-water events and e
 rg events are separate events. You may enter as many events as you lik
 e\; there is a separate registration fee for each event. All on-the-wa
 ter events are for singles only and may be rowed on any body of water 
 suitable for rowing. Erg events include singles\, mixed doubles\, mixe
 d quads\, and mixed octuples. In team boats\, all participants (includ
 ing the coxswain in the Octuple) submit a time for 4500 meters. The fa
 stest total time wins. See below for the complete list of events and e
 ligibility rules. Results are self-reported. You may make as many atte
 mpts as you’d like in the nine-day window (September 19-27). Competi
 tor submission of results are on your honor. We recommend that you tak
 e a picture or otherwise capture your results for validation. The Rega
 tta Committee reserves the right to request photographic evidence from
  the top three finishers of each event. Results submitted out of the w
 indow will not be accepted. Winners will be announced October 1.
