2025 Concept2 Mindful May Meters Challenge

I'm joining the Concept2 Mindful May Meters Challenge and inviting you to do the same! Row, ski, or ride at least 1,000 meters a day in May and support amazing mental health charities. Whether you’re on your own machine or using one at your local gym, this is an inclusive, flexible way to build momentum and feel good doing it.

I'm not the host of this challenge, but I'm excited to spread the word about the Concept2 Mindful May Meters Challenge happening throughout May 2025. It's a powerful way to promote mental health awareness while building physical momentum—one day, one meter at a time. Whether you're a RowErg veteran or just getting started on your BikeErg or SkiErg, this is a great reason to move every day. The challenge is simple: log at least 1,000 meters per day for as many days as you can in May.

How to Participate:

  1. Register Online: Create or log into your online logbook at Concept2 Logbook.

  2. Row, Ski, or Ride: Any 1,000-meter effort counts—whether on RowErg, SkiErg, BikeErg, on water, or on snow.

  3. Log Your Activity: Track your progress each day to stay accountable and qualify for donation milestones.

Challenge Levels & Donations:

  • Level 1 (10 days): Concept2 donates $1 per participant.

  • Level 2 (15 days): Concept2 donates $3 per participant.

  • Level 3 (20 days): Concept2 donates $5 per participant.

 Join us for the Concept2 Mindful May Meters Challenge to promote mental health awareness through daily activity. Row, ski, or ride at least 1,000 meters a day in May and support great causes!

Concept2 will donate up to $20,000 total, with funds split evenly across these outstanding charities:

  • NAMI VT – National Alliance on Mental Illness Vermont

  • Active Minds – Mental health support and education for students and young adults

  • Boulder Crest Foundation – Advancing posttraumatic growth for veterans and first responders

  • The Trevor Project – Crisis support and suicide prevention for LGBTQIA+ youth

Rewards & Recognition:

Participants who meet the challenge get:

  • A spot on the Mindful May Meters Honor Board

  • A downloadable certificate

  • A chance to purchase exclusive challenge merch, with proceeds supporting the above causes

If you're like me—working to get back into shape, one meter at a time—this is the perfect excuse to move daily, stay mindful, and make an impact.

I’ll be logging meters from both home and the gym. I’ve got a Model C with a PM5 at home, and I also row on the Model Ds and Es at TJ Fitness in South Arlington. Thanks to ErgData, I can sync my workouts from anywhere—home or gym—and track my progress in the same logbook. It's available for iOS and Android, and once you pair it with your PM5, it logs your meters directly to your Concept2 account. Super simple, super motivating.

Let’s log it, lift each other up, and make this May matter.
